Our founder, Amy Bryan, has been practicing law in Stephenville, Texas, since she began her legal career. After graduating from Tarleton State University with her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting in 1992, she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the Texas Bar in November of 1995. She worked with Stephenville attorney Garry Lewellen for ten years as an associate before joining forces with two respected colleagues as a shareholder in the firm of Fraser, Wilson & Bryan, P.C. where she served clients in Erath and surrounding counties until the summer of 2025. She founded Amy Bryan Law, PLLC with a vision to continue to represent her clients with compassion, integrity and dedication and she is grateful to continue her professional association with her longtime friend, Carey Fraser., in his Of Counsel role with Amy Bryan Law, PLLC.
Carey Fraser also began his legal career practicing law in Stephenville. He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Oklahoma City University School of Law and was admitted to the Texas Bar in November of 1996. Before law school, he attended the University of Texas, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and the University of North Texas, where he obtained a Master of Arts in English. After a few years in private practice, he was elected as Erath County Attorney in 2000 and re-elected to the same position in 2004. He co-founded the firm Fraser & Wilson, P.C. in 2004, which became Fraser, Wilson & Bryan, P.C. in 2005, and he has since served individual and business clients in and around the Stephenville area. He is also the owner of Fraser Agency, Inc., an independent insurance agency in Stephenville.
